Main advantages of Powerwall Lithium ion battery:

Li-ion battery has high voltage and high energy density;

Lithium-ion battery is a secondary battery (rechargeable battery) that mainly relies on lithium ions to move between positive and negative electrodes to work. During the charging and discharging process, Li+ intercalates and deintercalates back and forth between the two electrodes. When charging, Li+ is deintercalated from the positive electrode and embedded in the negative electrode through the electrolyte, and the negative electrode is in a lithium-rich state; the opposite is true during discharge.

The voltage range of Powerwall Lithium ion battery is 2.8V~4.2V, and the typical voltage is 3.7V. If it is lower than 2.8V or higher than 4.2V, the battery may be damaged.
